Critical Thinking

(Heavy critical thinkers might find this post to their liking.)

Before I start, let me say this...
I actually wanted to put this entry on my main blog, but some of my friends prefer to read it here, so I just put it here.

Okay. I now have "Critical Thinking Skills" in my list as one of the subjects that I'm taking in college. But whatever it is, I just want to talk about something..... that came to my mind.

Usually, we all have critical thinking skills. We all have them, but it's only a matter of weak or strong. However, even for the best critical thinker in the entire world, there're just times when this person simply can't think critically enough, somehow... (They too aren't perfect.)
Why?!

Below are some reasons:

1) The development of our wisdom is limited and obstructed by ignorance.
a. "Ignorance" here is the ignorance of anything, from how things happen, to how you think, even to your own existence...
b. These "barriers" control how critical one can be in their thinking.

2) Everyone requires a different amount of time in the process from thinking critically to producing the results.

3) The mood you're in doesn't fit.

There're just so many more reasons, that some even words can't evaluate.
We're "human critical thinkers", not "supernatural critical thinkers". For normal critical thinkers like us, there's always a limit to how critical we can be. (Humans aren't perfect.)

Having said so, many critical thinkers say that critical thinking skills are very useful. Of course from the surface we can see straight away that they're useful, but if we think critically we should even think, "What is 'thinking'? What will 'thinking' do to me?"

Looking at it from another perspective, "the more you think, the thicker the fog covers your eyes."Who dare to prove this incorrect?
I dare not. Instead, I support it. And I also support critical thinking.

Paradoxical?
We're living in a world where "wet" and "dry" do not come together, where "near" and "far" do not come together, where "static" and "dynamic" do not come together. If they were to take place together, it sounds illogical to us, to our human mind.

However, however...
These are all just what you see. We're so used to seeing this logic that it shapes our perception and moulds our mind so that to our mind, only the above mentioned conditions make sense and not when they're taking place together.
And.....

My idea suddenly disappears. Lol.

Anyway, so... I'm now having this subject as one of the subjects I'm taking. Thinking about this subject that is taught in my class..... Indeed, it's "a good thing... in a bad hand".
