StarCraft 2 (Awesome) Soundtrack

Crap. I beat my own record by posting 2 times consecutively about entertainment! The last time I did this was... never.

Alright. This one-of-a-kind thing is going to be released very soon. But thanks to a friend of mine, I actually got to get my hands on StarCraft 2 Beta and try it out a little bit. Now I know how most of the things work in SC2. Muahahahaha.

SC2 is not only great in its gameplay. When I was playing it, the soundtrack really hit me. Below are some of the BGMs you can hear in SC2.

By the way, I have the original files, so the music is crystal clear from my speakers. But since these are from YouTube uploaded by other people, the music might not be that clear here.

Let's begin with the main theme.

SC2 Main Theme

Nostalgic, isn't it? The beginning 55 seconds will sound extremely familiar to your ears. (Assuming that you were or are a SC player.) They're just the enhanced version of the main theme from SC1.

And the first 26 seconds out of the 55 are golden! You should turn the volume up. No joke.

But uh... After 55 seconds, what follows is reminiscent of something...... Ah hah! Star Wars! Lol! I find it really weird to hear something like that in SC. That part isn't really appropriate, I think.

Now, one of the Protoss themes.

SC2 Protoss Theme 01

I'm not sure why but all Protoss themes sound fairly... bland, no matter they're from SC1 or SC2. Can't they be more stimulating? They're not exciting, and they're not peaceful either. Hmm.

Nevertheless, I'm still a Protoss player. Huh huh huh hahahahaha~

SC2 Terran Theme 02

Now this is something. They really make it sound human (as opposed to Protoss and Zerg). Easy-going and laid back. Terran-like. Good.

SC2 Zerg Theme 04

Oh my gosh!! Out of the 6 Zerg themes from SC2 Beta, this one is really Zerg!! It wickedly squeezes all the Zerg juice along in the music!!! Evil. Eerie. CREEPY! *Shiver*

They could shoot a horror movie with this already.

And this is the theme music of the Battle.Net login screen...

SC2 Battle.Net Screen Main Theme

Argh! Turn up your volume!! Feel the thrill!! The first 45 seconds are PURE AWESOMENESS!!! If you have the music file, blast it with surround sound! (Of course, the sound quality of your copy must be sharp and clear.)

Okays. That's all for now. If you're a StarCraft fan and love its soundtrack, go to YouTube, as you already know. There are ways to get the original files too, but I'm not going to tell you how because it's not really...... good. And I bet you already know what I'm talking about anyway. *Wink*
